The Ultimate PBN Guide

Hello,
Thank you for the great guide — I read it carefully and found it very helpful.

I have a few questions I’d like to ask:
  1. Is it okay to use a PBN hosting provider such as pbn.ltd?
  2. If I check a domain on the Archive and it was an English website before, is it fine to rebuild it as a news site in another language?
  3. Can I publish posts on the same PBN linking to my money site’s main page with a main anchor, and also create separate posts on the same PBN for the money site’s subpages or long-tail anchors?
  4. In your experience, how long does it usually take for a PBN to show results?
  5. If I have 5 money sites and 20 PBNs, is it okay to link all 5 money sites from every single PBN?
  6. For keywords with a KD (Keyword Difficulty) of 60 or higher according to Ahrefs, roughly how many PBNs would I need?
  7. I spend a lot of time selecting PBN domains — checking DR, TF, DA/PA, QBL, domain age, Archive history, spam score, spam anchors, spammy backlinks, etc., and then bidding in auctions or using backorders. Is it normal to spend this much time trying to find good domains at a reasonable price?
  8. I have a PBN built with expired domains. These are lower quality PBNs — should I just scrap them, or can they still be used as Tier 1 links? (There are no footprints: theme, categories, plugins, and nameservers are all different.)
I’d appreciate it if you could share your thoughts on these questions.

Also, I’d like to try your PBN services — if you have any discount codes or more information about your services, please send me a DM.

Thank you very much!

Now that G isnt a domain registrar is it still necessary to have seperate hosting accounts with a different email and whois registration info?

1. We stick to cloud hosting (it's outlined in the OP on why)
2. Yes
3. You can, but diminished returns in regard to link equity and higher OBL. So i'd stick to 1-2 links per money site.
4. Depends on the scale and niche. If you start with 30+ PBNs, you can see results in 2-3 months, especially for local or foreign SERPS. Otherwise it'll be more gradual.
5. If the money sites don't share apparent footprints, then yes. Otherwise stick to OBL = 1, if unsure.
6. Impossible to answer.
7. Yes, sadly
8. If they have no footprints, you can use them, of course. That's the whole point of a PBN. Using the linkable assets. If you're in a local niche, I'd create posts with unlinked citations + map embed instead. You could also use them as tier2's. Quite a few ways to go here.

for anyone thats still following:

we're beta testing a few PBNs on just vercel and netlify atm.

full ai builds (claude code + gemini 3 pro) - and it has a suprisingly low dns/ip footprint - but they may still share the same edge IPs

dare we try google cloud next? lol.

Interested to see the results... Without going through 10 pages of your journey. What are your current top PBN tips/plays?

This is an awesome guide. Got to be one of the best out there on PBNs period. A must-read for anybody in this space even if you're not going to specifically go the PBN route.

Great write, up. Very detailed and practical, especially the parts about footprints and domain analysis. Definitely one of the more useful PBN guides here. Thanks for sharing

Very comprehensive guide. The section on footprints and hosting alone makes this worth bookmarking. Thanks for sharing real, practical insights.

So far so good.

It definitely will be our go to for the future. Haven't had issues with indexation, link equity or power. Fast, secure, no big ffootprints from vercel or git. Tough having a few account for each certainly helps.

We are also rebuilding some of our old wordpress PBNs with Next/Tailwind and will keep wordpress headless on a subdomain for the posts that are already there.

Would love to see a guide/walkthrough on some steps, have contemplated building something similar...

AI is your friend.
We use Claude Code (backup: Codex) + Gemini for new builds.

We build our a very thorough prompt where we mostly have to fill in boilerplate parts about domain, niche, articles to feature, link placements and rebuilds (slugs).

First things first, this is really a good post that explains every step for beginners.
I was thinking about building a tool for the PBN owners (actually, it was about domains). It will do all the stuff you mentioned in the post with the help of AI through the dashboard.

The main question is, will people still make searches on search engines in the future, or will they use AI to get instant results of their research? That's the point where I'm stuck at :)
