Hey BHW,

I've seen a lot of sellers offering OneDrive 5TB Lifetime + Office 365 for around $10.

Do these accounts actually last long-term, or are they usually from education/business tenants that can get revoked at any time?

Has anyone here used one for 1+ year? Any bans, storage reductions, or loss of access?

Looking for real user experiences before buying one.

I wouldn't risk it tbh.

I can't risk having my hentai aka my most prized possessions being lost because the account got banned.

They're almost certainly EDU/NGO accounts, I wouldn't use them as anything but disposable.

They will work for a while, but eventually will go down. Never send anything there that you can't loose, it's not worth the risk

Thankss for the advices, can someone recommend me a good and cheap platform for cloud storage?

Good and cheap do not go together. If the data is important go for good like Google or dropbox.

Pcloud has cheap offers including lifetime plan. They have been around for a while. I have used it before.
10$ lifetime gdrive onedrive are scam.

Never and I mean never fall for this.

I got an Adobe CC subscription from one of these providers. And every 15 days he sends a message that the old account is dead and to join a new org.

These people use volume licensing loopholes and form fake corporation accounts or Microsoft credit accounts for startups that allow to use the credit for Office 365 and one drive. Microsoft catches them every few days and blocks the account and suddenly your one drive is not accessible. When you contact them they will just say... Oh well ... I'll give you new account.

But any data in the old one is gone.

I'm hesitant to buy the pCloud Lifetime Unlimited plan because I'm worried the company could go out of business in the next 5 or 10 years. What do you think? Is that a realistic concern?

That could happen to Google also. Will you stop using Google because of this now ?

Google has more chances to stay longer than pCloud no?
One backup is no backup.

If permanent storage is that important, use a NAS as your main backup and cloud as secondary. Don't rely solely on any one company, not even Google or Amazon.
