Honestly, the best way to start is to pick ONE thing and go deep instead of chasing every shiny method. Affiliate marketing with a niche blog or YouTube channel is still solid. If you have no budget, offer a service on Fiverr/Upwork - copywriting, VA, even simple video editing. Scale that into an agency. Most people fail because they switch methods every week. Pick something, do it for 6 months consistently, then evaluate.

If you've already done freelancing and a job, I'd stop trading time for money. Try building your own SaaS, templates, browser extensions, or small tools that solve a real problem. It takes time, but one good product can earn more than client work in the long run.

Freelancing is a great option for making money but the real big buks come when you own something. Instead of being a freelancer, build your SaaS niche product or monthly clients

Yeah I've done it — started on Upwork doing copywriting for $15/hr, eventually built it to a retainer client base. The 'not sure about services' part is fair, but you don't need to know everything upfront. Pick one thing you're already decent at and offer it. People overestimate what they need to learn before starting.

You don't have the skills to think maybe this question has been answered hundreds of times, and looked up all those threads instead of starting a new one. If you aint got a search and research skillset, what hope is there to make money for you? Making money is all about initiative, and self starting. I don't think you have these, do you?
If you have the skills, do some research online. There are web developers that own YouTube channels and monetize their content through AdSense. Just find what fits your style.
