Nevertheles, I also start my analysis with the GSC, rather than concentrating only on click. I search for website that have increased impressions without trafic, find new keywords oportunities, nd monitor any sudden drop.

I usually check Google Search Console first to see clicks, impressions, and any indexing issues.
First stop is Search console, then i check rankings and crawl issues. Keeping it simple saves a lot of times.
I also generaly begin with GSC, but I don't bother myself with the daily changes. I usualy pay attention to the abnormal changes– problem with indexing, increase in impresions, decrease in CTR or sudden change in keyword.
