Windows vs Mac laptop, which one is best?

It all depends on what you do with your laptop. I use Asus Zenbook A16 2026 version it's really nice.

I will just recommend Mac because it's what I'm using now. Before that I was using Windows and I don't think I can ever go back to Windows anymore
The biggest reason I prefer iOS I guess is because of tge ecosystem and how easily it syncs with all your other devices... iPhone, Mac, iMac, iPad etc
It really became the main reason for me when recommending a PC to people especially if they already have more Apple devices too

I was on windows all my life until 2 years ago.... Had strong laptops and Workstations....thats until I bought my first ever macbook pro m4 pro 14 inch... 24gb ram..1tb ssd.... This thing is flawless in any task... + the battery holds me 20+ hours . Is not for gaming (it can take few games pretty well but is not well designed for that).
More so, if you also have an iphone, its instant sync between your iphone and your macbook...whatever you have on Iphone you can access from the Macbook...Take phonecalls, (See the whole gallery instantly) COPY PASTE from one to another.... ITS A BEAST.

Definitely get a mac, an apple silicon one if your budget permits. You won't regret.
If you are going to plug it in most of the time, look for good cooling and quality more, along with battery management features, not just specifications. Business laptop series such as ThinkPad, Dell Latitude, and ASUS ExpertBook is more likely to survive longer daily usage than gaming laptops.
RAM should be 16GB or more, SSD, and at least a Ryzen 7 or Core i7 processor to survive for the next 5–8 years.

Yup, from 2000 onwards. I switched to mac in 2018 probably. It's totally different. Copy paste shortcuts are different, file-system is different (its linux like so if you are used to linux, you will feel at home). How you install softwares is different too (I use homebrew, absolutely recommended).
If you indeed go for mac, open a thread in the lounge and ask for tips. Pretty sure you will get started in no time.

This is a bit subjective, you'll find die-hard proponents of both.
Used Mac for the past 8 years, some features were handy (file-sharing etc.) but didn't like all the limitations that come with it (what apps can one use and so on).
This Year - came back to a Windows setup, and it feels like much more freedom, and more personable too.
