How to open US tiktok shop if I am living abroad?

It's not possible unless you are a citizen of that country/ but only way is to buy from an authentic supplier that's it

I would suggest just old fashioned Shopify store + TikTok ads! But idk! GL anyways:) you might need US Social Security number n stuffs but as I said idk :(
 
I originally set up my TT account in the US, I'm now in SEA and wanting to sell to US, and it's unclear signing up online instead of in App how it will work. Online putting my business in US, I can select UK & SEA as where to sell, but if I put my current country of Indonesia, it gives the option to sell in US.
 
This requires setting up a payment processor like PayPal or Stripe that works with your TikTok and making sure it can accept international transactions.
 
You could probably partner with US fulfillment companies that handles shipping. Or just buy a US TikTok Shop account, but be careful it could even complicate things. You will need a US bank account or a service like Payoneer for withdrawals. Just make sure that everything is legal and runs smoothly!

Hi @Maxmum Alee. Thank you for your post. This is very helpful. I have a few more questions. Is ITIN issued to a person or an LLC? Did you fly to the US to apply or applied online? Did you still need a US based company representative to register your TikTok account or did you register it via a partnership option? If you used a US based company representative, was it someone you already knew or you could find a person willing to help?
 
If I purchase a legitimate, verified US account, how will I get paid in my country?
Also Tiktok requires a US social security number and fill out a Tax Form , I think is W-9. How is this provided with the purchased account.? and Is it valid?

If you are not a US citizen, you need to register your company in the USA as an LLC. With the LLC information, an ITIN is necessary.

hey man ,wanted to ask you a quick question,when they ask for id verification ,they ask for ssn as well,so as a non us resident what should i put there ?
 
You can set your TikTok Shop target to the US even if you’re based in the Philippines. You don’t need a US-based account, but you may need a US business address or payment processor. For withdrawals, consider using PayPal or a US bank account. Make sure your supplier can ship to the US. Check TikTok’s seller policies for more details.
 
Directly purchase a US TikTok store account, and then set your VPN to the US
