I am curious to hear what has been working for everyone in 2026. Are AI related blogs personal finance or local business niches still performing well or are there better opportunities for new bloggers?

Software tools and AI related topics have worked well in 2026. I also see good results from local business content because it targets specific users with lower competition.

As far as I see it there is no particular niche that can be called a surefiire success. Blogs that target some kind of problem nd provide consistent usefful content appear to do the best job regardless of whether they r dedicated to AI, finance, local businesses or any other area. Selecting an area u can work on is always ur main asset.

Thats helpful. I was also thinking about local niches. Have you found that service based businesses perform better than local informational blogs or is it more about the quality of the content?

From what I have seen personal finance is still one of the strongest niches if you can target a specific audience. AI blogs can do well too but the competition is much higher now. I think the best opportunity in 2026 is choosing a niche you actually enjoy and creating genuinely helpful content consistently.

AI, personal finance, and local business niches are still solid choices in 2026. Evergreen topics like health, home improvement, and software also have strong potential. The biggest factor is creating helpful, original content and building authority over time. Consistency matters more than simply picking the latest trending niche.

In 2026, AI, personal finance and local business blogs are still doing well, but success depends more on creating helpful, original content than choosing a niche. I'd focus on a topic you enjoy and consistently provide real value to readers.

I don't have personal experience, but in 2026 the strongest-performing blogging niches have generally been personal finance, AI/software, health & wellness, and home improvement with strong topical authority.

Health and fitness sub niches can still work, but I would avoid broad topics. Something specific like home workouts, fitness for beginners, or meal planning is easier to target.

Local and finance can still work but they are much more competitive now, I'd look for underserved sub niches where you can build authority instead of going after Broad keyword's.

Chasing trends never worked for me picking a niche you can actually stick with for months usually pays off a lot more.

AI and local business blogs still have good potential but long term success depends more on unique helpful content than the niche itself.

Relying only on search engine clicks is slow. The fastest way to grow now is dropping useful tips on Reddit or Pinterest to pull readers over.

The niche matters but having a unique angle matters even more now a lot of topics are crowded, so solving a specific problem can help a blog stand out.

Local service niches (think plumbers, HVAC, movers) paired with practical AI-tool reviews have been solid for me in 2026. Intent is very clear so conversions tend to be higher than broader "AI blog" content. Agree that consistency and genuinely solving a reader's problem matters more than the niche itself.
