What proxy do u use for reddit?

Is isp proxy good for reddit campaign? As i need to random comment aswell so that account doesn't get ban for bot like activity residential proxy cost based on usage but isp proxy gives unlimited

My account with residential proxy got ban recently I am planning to move to isp proxy now , I would to hear from people who have tried both how does your current setup looks like ??is isp proxy good because reddit ban is inevitable

hey the proxy type is only one part of the setup account history, activity patterns and how the accounts are used usually have a bigger impact on long term stability
 
isp is risky ngl just use real iphones been solid for me
 
I do not think the proxy type is the only issue. Reddit looks overall account behavior as well. If an account is new or starts posting aggressively then it can still run into problems regardless of the connection you are using.
 
A clean residential with sticky sessions is still safer. ISP is cheaper, but you get what you pay for. Static ISP is basically a datacenter IP with an ISP laber slapped on it. Reddit can still spot the datacenter origin.
But your ban probably wasn't just the proxy type. could be the IP itself was dirty or your behavior got flagged. Reddit's detection is pretty layered now.
 
isp over residential yeah, but the residential ban probably wasnt the proxy itself. what kills accounts is rotating the ip, keep the same static ip and location on every login for that account. and going straight into random comments on a fresh account is what flags you way before the proxy type does
 
ISP proxies are a solid move for Reddit and probably the right call for you. The thing is, your residential ban most likely wasn't about it being residential, it was the IP changing or being a dirty shared one. Rotating or pooled residential means your account teleports across IPs and sits next to a hundred other spammers, and that instability is what gets flagged, not the residential label itself. ISP proxies fix exactly that: they're static, they read as a real ISP on a lookup, and they're unlimited so you can comment freely without watching a GB meter.

The one thing that still matters is dedicated, one IP per account, not a cheap shared ISP pool where 50 accounts sit on the same IP, because then they all link and burn together. Keep the same IP on the account long term, match its geo and timezone, and behave like a human. Reddit bans feel inevitable but they're not random, they track IP stability plus behaviour, so a clean static IP that never moves plus a slow human pattern is what actually keeps accounts alive.

Proxy type is just 1 factor. Reddit also evaluates behavior and account signals.
 
I’ve tried both, and for this kind of use case I’d usually prefer ISP static proxies because the IP stays consistent and you don’t have to deal with frequent changes. But the proxy is only one part of the setup — I’d also recommend using a fingerprint browser to keep the browser environment consistent (fingerprint, cookies, timezone, etc.).
 
Proxy type is only one factor. Reddit also looks at account behavior, posting patterns, community rules, and overall activity. Switching proxies alone usually won’t solve bans if the account activity looks unnatural. Focus on building normal participation and avoiding sudden bursts of actions.
 
I would say good residental proxy or Mobile proxy if you can afford it, sim card is the best though if possible. Maybe rent a device in US if that's your target audience

Do you use dedicated proxies? Also an ISP proxy is the best to use for this kind of job.
 
I don't think the proxy type is the deciding factor. If an account keeps getting banned, there's usually something else in the overall activity that's raising flags. Changing from residential to ISP might not solve the problem if the same usage pattern stays the same.
 
I've used both and didn't notice a huge difference. A good quality ISP proxy can work fine, but if the account behavior looks suspicious, it'll still get flagged.
 
ISP proxies with an anti-detect browser/cloud phone are just the basic setup. The real game is still your activity, like your post patterns and comment quality. Reddit’s automated filters have gotten extremely aggressive lately, and their removal/shadowban triggers feel super unpredictable.

Honestly, even my 7-year-old aged account got shadowbanned recently without a clear reason.
 
A proxy alone won't determine how long an account lasts. I'd first try to understand why the previous accounts were suspended before changing providers. Otherwise you may end up seeing the same result with a different proxy.

ISP proxies are great and cost effective for maintaining stable long term accounts, but for mass or random commenting without bans, as Reddit primarily flags accounts based on browser fingerprint overlaps and unnatural behavioral velocity rather than IP type alone.
