Android or iPhone? Anyone Ever Switched?

So about a year ago I made the jump from Android to iPhone after being on Android for years. Honestly I wasn't sure at first if I'd even like it since I was so used to how Android worked, but after a few weeks it just started to click.

For me the iPhone ended up being the better fit. I like how smooth everything feels, the overall experience, and how well everything works together. That doesn't mean Android is bad though. I still think it's the better option if you're someone who likes customizing your phone and having more control over things.

Anyway I'm curious what everyone else's experience has been.

Has anyone else switched from Android to iPhone or the other way around? Was it worth it for you, or did you end up switching back?

And if you had to pick just one today, which would it be and why? :)

I switch it recently after i dont find reason to click more photos which i used to do, i had iphone now i use one plus latest model which is best for me as i am into digital stuff i need fast phone for calls and msg and surfing all day. stay upto 2 days with good battery backup thats all i needed.
 
I have both android and iphone. But I am still more confident with Android. Iphone I just bought for funding bugs in apple bounty program.

That makes sense. Once taking photos stops being a priority, it's way easier to focus on what you actually need from a phone.

The latest OnePlus phones are really solid for day to day use. Fast interface, excellent battery life, and quick charging are hard to beat, especially if you're on your phone all day for work. If those are your priorities, sounds like you made the right switch.

That's a pretty good reason to own an iPhone lol. I get it though, if you're more used to Android there's nothing wrong with sticking to what feels comfortable. By the way, have you come across any interesting bugs through Apple's bounty program yet?

:D Yeah can't argue with the OLED part, Google Pixel displays are honestly some of the best out there. The clean Android experience is a big plus too. If Google can just sort out the battery life a bit more, it'd honestly be a much tougher choice between Pixel and iPhone.

I know what you mean :D. It's funny how phones have almost turned into a status symbol for some people. At the end of the day, they're just tools. If your Android does everything you need and you're happy with it, that's really all that matters. Most of the time those comments say more about the other person than the phone you're using.

That's a fair way to look at it :) . I'd definitely give the edge to iPhone for social media apps and the camera experience. But when it comes to customization, multitasking, and overall flexibility, Android's still hard to beat.

Not yet. Last bug I submitted to them was 3 months ago which was not accepted. I have not hunted bugs on their program till then.
 
The few times I ever tried iOS I didn't enjoy it. Carrying out simple tasks takes forever. Though that was for a short time because I was trying to help someone do some things on their iPhone.

I felt same thing when I tried MacBook for a year.
 
For reason I don't really know
iPhone is only better with security and camera
Every other thing can be provided on android
So I choose android
 
I'm always using android. Used in past iphone but after not understanding much and didn't like it because the swipe and the reopening of the app was bad i ended up and remain an android user

Agree with you. I’ve always used Android, I tried using iPhone, but I just couldn't get used to it...
 
Android. I don't find value in iphones. If I needed that camera quality, maybe I'd switch.
 
I'd go for Andoid all day long, iphone is way overpriced for lower the features ...
 
I've always had an iPhone and would like to swap to Android but always end up staying with iPhone
 
I’ve switched the other way, from iPhone to Android, and the biggest difference for me was customization. I liked being able to tweak settings, layouts, and even default apps exactly how I wanted. That said, I do miss how seamless the iPhone ecosystem felt, especially with things like AirDrop and iMessage. If I had to pick one today, I’d probably lean Android for the flexibility, but I can see why iPhone feels like the better fit for many.
