while AI may have made several thing easier topical authority lies in the actual expertise and comprehensive yet unique coverage. A site with 100 unique article relating to the topic will definitely surpas that with 1,000 AI-generated page.

Right now it is challenging to build the real topical authority now as AI for everyone to publish content at scale. It comes from Better coverage, unique insights and more

AI has definitely created more noise but it has also brought out the concept of expertise. the definition of an expert is someone who can dig dep into a particular subjct having his or her own experence and connecting with the data.

Most people have this misconception that topical authority is just interlinking content. But in reality, topical authority shows your expertise on the topic through content quality, content's trustworthiness, author's expertise on the topic, and author's experience in the niche. So, adding author bylines and citing credible sources is as important as interlinking content. It's harder to convince AI tools if you build a fake author persona to manipulate EEAT scores.
