AI Overviews are now pulling and citing sources directly , so how are you checking whether your site is showing up or getting completely skipped?

A few tools have popped up recently claiming to track AI citation and visibility. But honestly not sure if they're worth paying for yet or still too early to trust the data.

Are you still running a manual workflow for this or have you found a tool that actually delivers real value?

What's your setup for monitoring AI citation?

the vast majority of visibility tracking tool used by AI employ estimates. I firmly believe that it is worth manualy examining the most important keyword and looking at the search console statistic since numbers really are more important than citation.

I still prefer checking it manually for now. AI visibility tools seem helpful but i think they are still improving.I would probably wait until the data becomes more consistent before paying for one.

Google search console (Beta) has now introduced with "AI Performance" under the heading "Performance". It has started adding this data in users account. If you do not see this data then your user account may not have cited/surfaced in AI grounding queries. See if you have added your site to search console.

Bing webmaster tool (Beta) has also started reflecting AI Performance data if your website is added in this account.

Microsoft clarity (Beta) is reflecting AI Citations data.

Yeah, thats why i hesitate to pay for tools.

have any other try new tools other than manual check and GSC? share your thoughts here.

I'm still doing a mix of manual checks and a few tracking tools. Most AI visibility data still feels inconsistent, so I don't fully trust any single platform yet. Waiting for the data quality to improve before paying for one.
