Has anyone noticed Reddit becoming a much bigger traffic source lately?

Hello

Over the last few months, I've noticed that Reddit seems to be sending more traffic than it used to, especially when a post gets picked up in the right community.

I'm not talking about direct promotion just genuinely joining discussions and sharing useful information when it's relevant.


Has anyone else experienced the same? Are you putting more effort into Reddit now, or are search engines and other social platforms still your main focus?

Our forum discussed a lot about Reddit traffic recently.

People come to Reddit looking for real opinions and experiences. If you take the time to write a genuinely helpful comment, it can keep bringing in traffic long after you've posted it.

Reddit has definitely earned a place in my strategy!
 
I've noticed the same When people share genuinely helpful content instead of just promoting links Reddit can become a surprisingly strong source of targeted traffic
 
Yeah definitely. I have seen Reddit send surprisingly good traffic when the post actually fits the community. The volume is not always huge but the visitors tend to spend more time and convert better than random social traffic.
 
my posts on reddit are getting people to direct message me and i sense the increase in attention. most of the outreach messages are spam though, promoting their own services
 
yes, reddit can bring good traffic when you add real value in communiites instead of just dropping link.

I’ve noticed the same thing, Reddit can bring surprisingly good traffic when the post actually fits the community instead of looking like an ad. I think SEO is still the long game, but adding Reddit into the mix works well for testing ideas and getting real user feedback.
 
Reddit dominate's Google now. Search now values it much higher.
 
Yes, many sites are getting more visitors from Reddit at present.
 
Yeah I've noticed that too. I've been spending more time on Reddit. If you contribute something useful, it can work really well

Yeah. In the past it would be unthinkable for music artist. Who where supposedly 'too cool for school' to turn up on there. But yet there, they are!
 
I have also noticed it. When I genuinely participate in relevant communities instead of promoting, good posts definitely bring more traffic.

These days, I am now putting more effort into reddit, linkedin & other social platforms along with google search because they all contribute to long-term visibility.
 
Yeah I've noticed this too, especially in niche subreddits where mods aren't as strict. The key seems to be genuinly adding value to the discussion first before ever mentioning your own stuff. Posts that read like native discussion get way more upvotes and clicks than anything that smells like an ad. I'm treating it as a long term community building play rather than a quick traffic hack.

Definately, but I'd be careful chasing the spike alone. A lot of that traffic is curiosity driven and won't convert unless the post itself is genuinely useful, so I'm still focusing more on the quality of individual threads than the overall volume increase.
 
It's a very good for traffic but reddit is removing all promotional content now.. It is been a very risky. But if you have a good strategy, you can invest a few and gain much visibility...
 
Reddit has always been a decent reliable traffic source because of it's regulations and anti self promotion rules. It is built to focus on genuine user reviews. But yes, it has had a ban wave recently and this has reduced spam on the site...
 
That's right, Reddit has recently seen a significant increase in interaction; I saw it about a week ago.
 
I think the biggest change is that people are using Reddit more for research now helpful answers can naturally attract attention without feeling like advertising.
