For rich guys 100$ is pennies but rich people knows the value of money and they even think 5 times more then the poor guys if they have to donate it or give it to someone.
For me 100$ living in india it is close to 10000 indian rupees. It still value alot to me. 10000 inr is big amount if got earned in 3-4 day
But working and earning for it in 20 days is becomes value not worth to me.
What it means to you having 100$ you have got it in your pocket from someone
i always love to know views of different people

$100 is a fair bit of necessities in resources, and could be stretched by an educated person. Consider, a .99 domain and cheap*(?) hosting. That's a good example of a pretty decent investment for possibly as low as 2-12% of your working capital. You could also spend it on something frivolous, and it wouldn't feel like as much money. It certainly couldn't pay for any of my utility bills on it's own at $100. Perspective.

wow you are creative guy. invest in domain and hosting what an idea haha. you took it for earning more money opportunities.haha i like it..you even said working capital haha i like it bro.. ty. for middleclass person living in india. the electricity bills usually dont cross 100$ if you dont run more then 3 ac's in single house

If the $100 solve an issue, the value is big. Same with $10 or even $1.

If those $100 are just....a tip for the waiter (rewarded after the service have been done), the value isn't so big.

But... if I have an important meeting, and I give the $100 to the waiter before even I sit at the table, the $100 become valuable again, because the waiter will know he/she has to treat my table well, and this may boost the success of the meeting.

TL;DR: It depends.

$100 is nice even in vikingland, that is half my food budget for the month, never eat out and cooking all meals by myself.

The honest truth is that $100 isn't just paper—it is a direct reflection of a person's time and effort.

You hit the nail on the head: when it takes 20 days of grueling work to make 10,000 INR, the money feels heavy and exhausting. But when you earn that same amount in just 3 days, it feels like a massive victory that buys you freedom and peace of mind for the rest of the month.

Ultimately, that money represents the exact same thing regardless of where you live: a temporary buffer against stress, and the power to choose how you spend your next few days.
