Does having more connections improved linkedln profile visibility

Yes it can help you with more exposure, however, you also need to post interesting stuff for your niche audience, so it can get reshared and get traction.

there is nothing wrong in having more connections. Enagement and quality is good but having big members connected i feel adds more authenticity
 
I think more connections can help, but only if they are real and active. Quality is better than just having a big number.
 
I've had a lot of connections on my seasoned LinkedIn account, but it's content that gets views and interactions that throttled the profile views.

The visitors searching will most likely have one particiular question that they are looking for, so you must find a way to get them coming back by giving them a reason other than just answering their question. i have seen better success when my content has a proper topic clustering, and a path to follow.

I feel that the relationships have a greater effect on distribution rather than visibility itself. a larger network may provide a boost for the content to get out there initiailly, but it is all wastage if they are not connected with the content or do not engage in it.
 
I think quality connections are better than random ones. Connect with people who are interested in your niche.
 
Having a large number of connections will definitely help increase your profile's visibility. People who connect with you are also more likely to visit your profile, which can further improve your overall reach.

While having more connections will help you achieve the initial outreach, that does not mean you will have visibility. In my experience, it was sometimes the case where small networks beat big networks in terms of relevance of the audience and willinginess to interact with their content.

Yes, having more connections can help your LinkedIn profile get seen by more people. But I think having the right connections and being active on LinkedIn also helps. Adding random people alone may not do much.
