[Journey] Vibe Coding an AI Food Platform to 3,000 Paying Members

Hi everyone,


After years of working in SEO and content marketing, I finally decided to build something I've wanted for a long time.
I'm building an AI-powered food platform for a specific market using vibe coding.

This isn't just another recipe website.
The platform combines AI, automation and a membership model focused on plant-based and fasting recipes, meal planning and food organization.

My goal is to reach 3,000 paying members through organic SEO, content and community, without relying heavily on paid ads.
I'll use this thread as my public build log.

Thanks a lot! I'm actually really impressed by vibe coding and what you can build using nothing but your imagination.
For years I had ideas that I tried to explain to different developers, but we never managed to build them successfully.

Now it finally feels possible
Plus it's extremely cheap. Before it costs a lot to pay coders etc but now you have a whole team for 20 eur monthly.

It appears to be a good niche, provided that you solve a problem instead of creating AI-generrated recipes. Create authority from the get-go and gather emails from day one – it will simplify reaching your membership numbers

Yep, exactly, I'm building a platform that helps people solve everyday problems around cooking, meal planning, and food organization.
AI is just one of the tools behind it.

And yes, building authority and growing an email list from day one is a huge part of the strategy.
I believe SEO + content + email will be much more valuable in the long run than chasing social media algorithms.

And I already have a Insta channel with almost 50k followers.

Yep, that's the long-term goal.
If I reach 3,000 members, the next milestone will definitely be 5,000.

For the first year, I'm planning to offer only a yearly subscription (€27/year). The platform has its own AI brain that continuously learns from user interactions and feedback, so after a year I expect it to become much more personalized and valuable.

Once the platform is more mature, I'll start monthly subscription.
That's the plan.

Yep, all good for now. I'll post update soon.

Right now I'm focused on polishing the platform before the beta. So far I've built the AI recipe Factory, the recommendation brain, the membership system, the admin review tools, and most of the core dashboard. Now it's mainly testing, refining, and filling the platform with high-quality recipes.

Still a lot to do, another 4-6 weeks for sure before real beta testers.
