What is your experience with brand mentions on reddit recently? What is the line after which your account is safe?

Hi guys
I've been into reddit marketing for half+ year using my personal account on a phone. no proxies, nothing. it's been going great, I farmed some karma and was able to mention my client almost every day.
But lately reddit banned my main and I started using an antidetect browser, proxy, separate ip, farm cookies, and the result on this account is almost the same after the first mention it is instatly banned. I don't even understand why it happen, the topic I engage in is totally relevant and asking for app recommendation. So after my main banned I'm useless for 2 months now. Each account I farm is banned.
I also buy accounts with karma 3 months old to use.
How do you handle it? Do you expience the same? any advice?

I think the problem is probably not the browser/proxy setup. If the first mention gets the account banned, Reddit may already be detecting the promotion pattern, not just the login environment.
Try warmup the account first, maintaining normal activity but not replying for a few days, then try again?

i also have been banned from a different device after 2 weeks farming. 150 karma. After first mention - ip ban.
How long do you do normal activity before you start doing brand mentions?

i've been warming up every account for a few weeks
 
From my perspective you can never feel safe. At the very least they can delete some of your messages and then ban whole account. I have cases of account bans only for local mentions that are completely okay in particular topics.
 
I've experienced something similar. Reddit seems to look at overall account behavior, not just age or karma. Even with an aged account, being too promotional or changing posting patterns too quickly can lead to actions against the account, so I've had better results by keeping participations as natural as possible.
 
Reddit seems much stricter with new accounts than it used to be.
 
what i believe through my experiences, a trusted account with genuine participation can usually mention brands naturally without issues, while new accounts pushing promotions. i would say good approach is building account trust first

sorry to hear that, that might be because of the brand mentioned. Reddit's risk control measures have become increasingly strict recently, and the system's mechanisms for recognizing AI-generated copy and detecting bulk promotional content have improved significantly. If a large number of accounts repeatedly use the same brand name at the same time, the system will directly judge it as mass marketing, and the blocking will be significantly strengthened. Ordinary accounts are more likely to be mistakenly penalized.
 
stick to one genuine account, post helpful stuff that’s clearly relevant, don’t mass-repeat the same promo and follow subreddit rules
it's that simple!
 
I've definitely seen more people saying Reddit has become much stricter recently.
What's interesting is that sometimes a normal personal account seems to survive much longer than setups with proxies, antidetect browsers and multiple layers of protection. Feels like Reddit is getting better at spotting behavior patterns rather than just technical fingerprints.
 
Sometimes the account reputation matters more than the post itself building genuine activity over time can make a big difference.
