Which backlinks types are giving the best long term results right now?

There are so many link building methods available but not all of them last. I'd like to know which backlink type are giving you the most stable rankings over serval months. Are you focusing more on guest posts, niche edits, digital PR or something else?

Guest posts and niche edits are the best but they do need to come from highly authoritative relevant websites.

relevant backlinks most stable over time. guest posts can work but backlinks from sites that are actually related to the topic. a few good relevant links usually feel better than building lot of random ones
