Not really. These days, I find that answers get views, but very few people actually click through to external websites.
It can still help with brand visibility, but I wouldn't rely on it as a major traffic source anymore.

i have got some traffic from quora but not a lot.
a few answers brought visitors for a long time while most did not much.
it can still work if you answer popular questions like business, tech, health and finance but i would not depend on it as my main source of traffic.

Definitely it does. But the main problem is sticking answers with links is so difficult. Recently they are so tough in this.

Quora can still send decent traffic, but it usually works best when you focus on consistently answering and building trust over time rather than dropping links. Broad informational niches like finance, tech, health, and education tend to do better because people are actively searching for answers there

Quora can be a bit of a wild goose chase lately for quick traffic, but mixing in links only where they really fit in your answers helps dodge the mods and keeps things more natural. I’ve noticed grabbing early spots on trending questions still gets me a solid trickle of views, especially if I show up before the crowd. Pairing Quora with something like LinkedIn or Medium works better for me nowadays.

I am still learning quora myself but it seems like detailed answers in popular niches have a beeter chance of bringing steady traffic that short promotional ones.

From what I have seen, evergreen niches like tech, finance, education and health seem to do well. I would be interested to hear if anyone is getting good results in other niches too.
Another forgotten source is emails from newsletters in your field. Getting yourself on a few lists wil bring you more involved trafic in a week than any amount of social networking campa .
a couple of hundred specific clicks always work better than thousands of irrelevant one.
