Youtube SEO is still matter.
Try to use eyecatchy thumbnails.
Ai tools are good for script ( i personally use chatgpt for my script) without hurting performance
 
From what I have seen strong audience retention and interesting topics still matter more than anything else A mix of Shorts and long form works well for many channels with Shorts bringing discovery and long videos building loyal viewers Good thumbnails and titles remain critical while AI is most useful for speeding up research editing and scripting rather than replacing original content

Posting consistently and often many times per week or even once or twice per day still works very well
 
First of all your content should be attractive and engaging if you want traffic on your channel. You should go with both shorts and long term videos to grow faster on youtube. Youtube shorts gives you views and engagement and the related content of long term videos will fulfiil the subscribers requirement. Youtube thumbnails should be eye catching and force people to click the video this thing is very important. These things will help you to grow faster on youtube.

YouTube growth does not have to be focused on keeping up with all the algorithm changes, it should be more focused on knowing your audience. While shorts will attract new viewerrs, good quality videos create loyalty. AI can help with the process but those who maintain their unique approach r the winners.
