Why are my Shorts getting views but no subscribers?

You either don't have engaging content or haven't added a proper "call to action" (CTA in short). Basically you need to funnel people from your shorts to subscribe to your channel by CTA.

Add a short video clip to your video, encouraging everyone to click the subscribe button

This is very common; people often just scroll through videos without caring who the creator is. I think you should combine longer videos with shorter, high-quality ones to attract a significant audience.

When viewers click your profile, make sure they see a clear banner, a one-sentence bio explaining your niche, and organized playlists so they know what you offer.

Your videos may not be getting enough views yet, or you might want to add a call to action at the end of each video encouraging viewers to subscribe.

Yeah same here, Shorts get tons of views but subs barely budge. What's helped me is ending every Short with a clear "subscribe for the full thing" and pinning a comment that links to my longer video. People who actually watch the whole series and up subscribing. Also staying super consistent with your niche helps.

Use a strong hook, keep your branding consistent, and make every Short part of a series that encourages people to follow.

Youtube shorts may increase views and engagement, also give you a good traffic. But if you want subscribers you should post long term videos. shorts never give you a subscribers to fulfill youtube's subscriber requirement. You should have to post a related content of shorts in the form of long term videos to get subscribers on youtube.

The shorts viewers are always in "scroll mode " meaning that many will drop off once they have obtained their value. The main idea here is to create something that will motivate them to come back something like a series, signature style, or a hint of more that they can only obtain through your channel.

I’m posting YouTube Shorts daily and getting good views, but subscribers barely move. Anyone figured out how to convert Shorts traffic into long-term followers?
Ur subscriber count nd number of views will not always be in sync. People will choose to subscribe to ur channel when they know what they will be getting into, which makes consistency an important aspect of creating content that will keep people comiing back.

One thing I noticed is people subscribe when each Short gives them a reason to come back A clear niche and ending with a small tease for the next video helped me more than chasing random viral views Consistency also makes a big difference

shorts views are cheap attention. getting someone to subscribe means giving them a reason to want the next video too. views alone dont build an audience. consistency and a clear niche do.

Subscriber growth tends to lag behind views i have found. Sometimes a Short can get thousands of views but very little new followers. Regullarly providing content on the same topic seems to create familiarity which over time tends to converrt more viewers into subscribers.

You can try make your videos more longer, and make sure your content is giving better values to the viewers. By this you should get more subscribers.

Viewers who watch shorts are not similar to those who consume long content they usually scroll through quickly. Attempt to make each of your Shorts have something that will encourage viewers to follow you, such as creating a series or something repetitive. Views are great, but the hook behind the hook makes them into subscribers.
