Why Do Some Blog Posts Get Indexed in Hours While Others Take Weeks?

Something that turbocharged my indexing speed was fixing broken internal links and tweaking my sitemap a bit. Googlebot seems to love a nice, clean trail to follow. Oh, and double-checking if pages are being blocked by robots.txt or have noindex tags by mistake saved me more than once. Usually, after a sitemap update in Search Console, I see stuff popping up in the index within a day or two.

If your new post looks exactly like 50 other articles on the web, Google will delay indexing it. High quality content with a unique angle gets prioritized fast.
