Reddit become harder to build a reputation

Hi all,
I have noticed that earning trust on reddit feels much lower than it used to. Even when you are posting helpful comments then it seems like it takes much longer to get noticed and become a recognized member of a community. Is it just because ther are more users now or has reddit canges how it rewards active contributors?
I would like to hear what others have experienced over the past year.
The problem I found is that in recent years the communities are also extremely cynical, not just on redidt, but the wider internet user base though reddit is surely the worst. They will accuse you of being a bot or a troll at the slightest reason, even if what you are writing is totally none controversial.

I know of course that it is because of the rise of AI and such but it has caused this hypervigilance that is far beyond the actual threat and people just say it to be lazy and not try and understand what someone else is saying these days.

Example:
New Reddit User: Where are good places to buy lightbulbs.
Usual Reddit User: Hmm account is only 2 days old, this is clearly a troll post to get attention.

Reported.
Account permaghosted site wide.

Nearly every place I post online these days, like clockwork, I get the accusation that something I post is a troll post. As soon as I get accused of that I usually just delete the account because once you get accused then others start labeling you making getting a real answer extremely difficult then as all others will then say 'oh just another troll comment from the troll, no need to answer'.

Stupid mob mentality.

Being a "recognized member of a community" only means you have no life, not that others respect you. Once people start recognizing your username, it's almost always for the wrong reasons, and you're not gonna be popular.

All you need on Reddit is not to look like a bot. That's it. There's no "reputation" worth building.

It takes longer to build trust. But sometimes reddit disappoint their users
