Shorts have a very limited time for you to record your opinion and also show the actual video, so need to be fast and to the point in like 2-3 sentences. For inspiration look at @penguinz0 and @Caspersight

Only if you talk and give your thoughts and have opinion you can get more attention. I very often just pass videos that is not a person talking and seem like AI

From what I've seen, there isn't a guaranteed way to avoid demonetization. The best you can do is make the reaction genuinely transformative with continuous commentary, use only short portions of the original, and ensure your content is the main focus rather than the source clip.
 
Add your own opinion. simply reposting someone else's content won't work well in the long runn
 
Provide additional analysis or insight instead of re-posting or merely editing existing work.
 
As I see it, the first 3 seconds should be used to hold the viewer's attention with an open-ended question or a situation that sparks curiosity.

I think the key is adding ur own value instead of just replaying someone else content. A good reaction should include your thoughts, analysis, humor, or a different perspective so viewers have a reason to watch ur version. Also make sure to respect the original creator and avoiid using clips without meaningful transfformation.
 
I would say do some reactions with the video in the background, comment, talk about it, then switch remove the focus from the video entirely and make sure that only your own content is on the screen, im pretty sure ai is just catching % of the other creations on your video, so if there's more than X% it won't reward you..
 
From what I've observed, the most important thing is to make your reaction video truly your own, not someone else's video with your face added to the corner of the screen. I usually use a short original clip, then pause quite a bit to explain, comment, or give my perspective before continuing. The amount of time I spend speaking is often longer than the actual reaction clip. That's much more effective than playing almost the entire short clip and then just inserting a few comments

Use the native Remix/Duet feature, keep your face clearly visible, and add sharp commentary or strong expressions from the first 3 seconds instead of just nodding to avoid reused content flags.
 
For reaction content, the main thing is to add real value instead of just replaying the original clip Add your own commentary opinions explanations or a different perspective throughout the video

Also make sure you have the rights to use the content and follow YouTube’s monetization policies because simple reuploads or low effort reactions can have problems during review Original editing and meaningful input usually make the content stronger
