Could my video still generate views if

I think if comments require approval, it may negatively affect the growth and views of your YouTube videos. However, if the video itself is engaging enough, it can still attract good viewership despite that.

If comments require approval before being published, I think it has a greater impact on engagement than on views. It may reduce the number of comments and interactions, but it is unlikely to have a significant effect on overall view counts.

Could my video still generate views if comments require approval?
comments are a sign for the algo that the video is interesting and etc, however it is not the main factor, its just one of them...so if you get a ton of likes and your ctr and retention rates are high, then the videos can still do great. However do not disable comments, because this can be generally annoying since people love the comment section to comment and to read, those engagements you get on comments like comment likes, replies and etc is also a moving factor for the video.

Approved comments only affect discussion, not whether people discover your video.

You are posting controversial videos? If yes, dont restrict your comments, youtube filters will take care of most of the bad comments.

Plus there is no options to manually approve all comments. Either you can restrict it fully or from specific user.

If comments need to be approved before they appear publicly, I believe it affects engagement more than views. It may reduce the number of comments and overall interactions, but it is unlikely to have a noticeable impact on total view counts.

Could my video still generate views if comments require approval?
Yeshh ur video will receive many views even if u need to approve ur comments. This option mostly determines how the comments look like nd aids in moderation. At least according to my knowledge, other aspects such as watch time nd rettention play a more important role.

Yes. Approval for comments does not make any difference to the visibility of your video. There is a slight chance that the engagement of the viewers might get affected if the discussion on the video takes place late.

Could my video still generate views if comments require approval?
Yeshh but only up to a point. Comment moderation will simply screen the comments which get posted to ur channel, it would not do anythiing about getting ur video recommended nd watched so that is basically up to the reaction it gets.

Could my video still generate views if comments require approval?
To my understandiing the need for comment moderation does not influence the recommendation of videos or the viewing of videos. It only impacts how the comments will be dispplayed. If the video does not have views it might be due to other factors.

Could my video still generate views if comments require approval?
Comment moderation itself is unlikely to prevent people from watching the video. The larger issues remain watch time, retention, and whether the content is worthy of viewing.
The only thing that would bother me is the loss of natural conversations in the commnts section, which can be instrumental in building an audience for the video.

ofcourse man, It would barely affect much in the terms of ranking. yes it will have some downside but not much

Yes, it won’t affect your views at all.

YouTube cares about people engaging with the video - typing a comment and hitting send is what triggers the algorithm, regardless of whether you approve it publicly or keep it hidden. If people are watching and engaging, the video can still keep getting views.

I think people would be uncomfortable having to approve their comments.

Yes, that's possible. While comments are waiting for moderation, I can still filter out inappropriate comments and those that don't interact with viewers. Helpful and popular comments are pinned to the top
