Just spent $4,000 on Street Poller Ads... Will they even work?

I'm testing Street Poller advertising for a one-product e-commerce website that sells a single physical consumer product.

For anyone unfamiliar, Street Pollers are people who promote a product in public using signs, QR codes, flyers, or direct interactions/interviews with pedestrians to drive traffic to a website.

I'll be sharing:

  • Campaign setup
  • Cost
  • Photos/videos (if available)
  • Website traffic
  • QR code scans
  • Sales/conversions
  • Overall ROI and whether I'd do it again
Hopefully this gives others a better idea of how Street Poller advertising performs for a direct-to-consumer physical product. I'll keep this thread updated as the campaign progresses.

If you or anyone you know has tried these, feel free to share your experiences below. I will be documenting this as we go.

I hope you asked these guys for their portfolio first. Otherwise, I'm afraid you're in for a disappointment.

I have not tried street poller ads but I have tried delivering business cards for my pest control business (I'm in Europe) and they have worked remarkably well for our niche. I'm curious about your results though so please keep us updated.

Interesting test tbh. I think the product itself will matter more than the channel because random foot traffic can be very hit or miss.
If the QR funnel is clean and the offer is easy to understand you might get surprised by the results, so definitely keep us updated.

good luck with the testing and thanks for sharing the plan
Will continue to update, we ship the products out today for street interviews

Of course, lots of research went into this before paying the bill
