How to get clients from Linkedin organically?

Posting alone will not work.

First make it clear what you do and who you help. Then, comment daily on posts in your niche, share simple useful posts, no need to sound smart, talk in DMs like a normal person, not a seller.

When people keep seeing you and understand you, trust builds, then clients start coming.

post value daily talk real not salesy optimize your profile like a landing page comment on big posts to get seen dm smart start convos not pitches stay consistent and clients come in

Beginners get clients organically by optimizing their profile, posting helpful niche-specific content consistently, and building genuine connections through comments and conversations.

It requires a commitment to building longterm relationships. You have to provide value to get value. That means posting consistently in you niche, and providing real value to your niche's audience. You should also optimize your profile so it show cases who and how you have helped, not just your qualifications.

Hey,
I recently started using LinkedIn to try and get clients, but I’m not really sure what approach works best. I’ve been posting a bit but haven’t seen any results yet.

One thing I learned with LinkedIn is that posting alone usually isn’t enough in the beginning. You need visibility first. The best organic growth comes from consistently posting useful content, commenting on bigger creators’ posts in your niche, and actively connecting with people who match your ideal client profile.

If you want to speed things up, paid audience growth can help too—but focus on real, targeted exposure, like sponsored content, creator collaborations, or newsletter placements that attract genuine followers who actually care about what you do. A bigger relevant audience gives your posts more reach and social proof.

What started working for me was mixing consistent posting with active networking and smart promotion. Once people start seeing your name repeatedly, conversations start opening naturally.

From what I’ve seen consistency matters more than anything at the start, posting alone usually isn’t enough you also need to engage with other people’s content so your profile actually gets seen

LinkedIn is to much salesman, instagram and tiktok is more efficient to increase your brand and get your client

Best way is posting useful content consistency and engaging with people in your niche daily commenting on other posts sharing case studies/results and optimizing your profile usually work better than just posting content trust and visibility on LinkedIn take some time

Organic client acquisition works best when you focus on being visible in your niche, adding value in comments, and turning conversations into relationships before ever trying to sell.

I have noticed that posting alone usually is not enough. A lot of people get their first client consistently engaging with others in their niche, commenting on relevant posts, and building connections before pitching anything. It takes time, but organic relationships seem to work much better than direct selling on LinkedIn.

Big influencers doing since years commenting daily to 10-20 influencers oin their niche , very arkward time consuming process it is.
Because when you doing this, you not have time to posts your website blog posts to FB or IG (create reels of it) that's the catch. I wonder with all the AI's exist nowadays that there is not a semi automatic way to do that.

You can run ads, send direct messages, or build high-quality content and engage actively with the community. If you consistently provide value and interact with people, you'll attract more attention, and potential customers will gradually start coming to you.

In my opinion, attracting clients organically through LinkedIn requires a strong and professional profile, along with products or services that have a proven track record of quality.

When you want to build a high volume 7 figure business like Maria Wendt, then IN is not the right place, the growth here ist too slow. Imagine you making daily comments to 20 influencers like Lara Acosta , then maybe you will get 10-15 clients not more. For that, you need to offer high monthly retainer zoom meetings. Do you have ramarkable skills for b2b people, who like it to pay high ticket retainer prices? IN is not the right place for fast scale or go viral.

Yes, agree with other commentators here that consistency with content creation is one of the biggest factors, and also identifying your niche and how you may be able to solve some of their pain points. Honestly, one of the biggest points is that you do resonate with your audience through your content, but also you are able to give some sort of unique point of view that helps you stand out from the audience. This is quite difficult in practise.

I use LinkedIn Ads to find potential clients. Although I haven't achieved great results yet, I still believe the platform has a lot of potential.

Publish relevant information, network with the right individuals, and establish real relationships.

One thing nobody really mentioned... your connections matter more than your posts when you're starting out. If you're commenting all day but connected to random people, none of it reaches your actual targets. Spend a week just sending connection requests to the exact people you wanna work with, with a short note, no pitch. Then when you post or comment it actually lands in front of them.

@Marco69 has a point about it being slow though. IN is not for fast scale, its a long game. If you need clients this month you're better off doing direct outreach instead of waiting for inbound.

Yeah @PPCPirate is right about the connection quality, but if you need clients now and don't want to wait for the content grind, you can search for buying intent directly. Just search for exact phrases in quotes like "looking for a freelancer" or "recommend a [your service]" and filter by posts from the past week.

Most people overlook this but there are always decision makers asking their network for recommendations. You just drop a actually helpful comment on their post or connect and message them directly before they get flooded. It is usually faster than hoping someone sees your daily posts... especially when you have no reach yet.

In my experience, if you want to attract clients organically on LinkedIn, you should focus on building your personal brand while actively engaging with others and expanding your network. As your credibility grows, potential clients will be much more likely to trust you and respond to your outreach.
