Many hobbies can grow into something more than jsut a way to pass the time. whether it's photography , writing, gaming or something different.

Have you ever earned money from a hobby? what was it , and how did you get started?

I haven't yet, but I plan to make money through writing as a side hustle, how do you think?

Yeah, I sold in-game currency and rare items in an old MMO I was already grinding. Made pizza money. Started just by lurking on forums, seeing what people wanted, then farming it.

Market crashed eventually, but the real takeaway was: once money enters a hobby, the fun leaks out fast. It started feeling like a job that paid pennies. Quit selling, went back to enjoying the game. Nice little experiment but I'd never depend on a hobby for actual rent.

Not yet, but I am trying the best for earning from my hobbies.

Well I tried to sell my bath water once and for only £5.99 (no upsells).

Facebook marketplace banned me.

:(

I dont think like that.

Yup. I make enough to keep the hobby going.

My work is my play, I can only thrive in businesses that I built around what I love doing. As much as the security is tempting, I could never vibe with the 9-5 and the faux power it gives people in management. In my offices, everyone has a say, and all suggestions and criticisms are encouraged.
