I've been working as a front-end developer for the past four years, mainly with React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks. Most of my work involves building web applications, dashboards, SaaS products, and custom tools.

React/Next devs are honestly kinda rare around these parts, most people here are more on the marketing side so your skills gonna be in demand. Browser extensions especially... loads of people got ideas but cant build em. If you ever wanna dip into automation stuff you'll fit right in.

Stick around and drop into the SaaS threads, plenty going on there.

Welcome Fred. Front-end skills like yours don't come around here too often, most of us lean marketing so having someone who can actually ship a clean React app is a nice change.

If you're into extensions, keep an eye on the automation threads... lot of half baked ideas floating around that just need someone technical to make em real. Chrome manifest v3 killed a few of the older tricks people relied on so fresh eyes on that side would be handy.

You'll find plenty to sink your teeth into. Good luck man.

Welcome man. Building isnt usually the bottleneck here, its knowing what to build... you'll see plenty of "genius" ideas that die the second you look at the numbers, so having someone who can prototype fast and kill the bad ones early is worth a lot.

If you pick up even a bit of the marketing side to go with your dev skills you'll be dangerous. That combo is rarer than people think.

Always happy to connect. Very comfortable and familiar with similar frameworks but also doing a lot of backend work. I'd be interested to hear what other people are up to lately with all of the advancement.

welcome man. good mix of skills to have here, most people can sell but cant ship so you sitting in a nice spot.

one thing since you mentioned extensions... manifest v3 is annoying but the stuff that actually holds people back isnt the code, its distribution. building a solid extension is the easy part, getting it past chrome review and keeping it there without getting yanked is where it gets tricky. worth reading up on their policies early so you dont build something clever that just gets pulled.
