I suppose I'm new to this and looking for an alternative to just blasting expensive ads.

Ideally I'd I've got a $5 conversion on my SaaS and id like to do a setup where I give perhaps $3 to whoever can drive conversions.

What is this called? What website do I use to register this offer to advertisers such that they can test ad copy and run ads for me where each sale gives them $3 me $2?

what you want is to be the advertiser, not the publisher. two routes: run your own affiliate/referral program with something like rewardful or firstpromoter (built for saas, you set the $3 payout, the affiliate gets a tracked link, cheap and you own it), or list as an advertiser on a cpa network which fronts you affiliates but takes a margin and usually wants a budget deposit. the catch: a fresh offer with no conversion data, affiliates wont touch it, they chase proven epc. so youre better off running your own program first, getting a handful of conversions to prove it converts, then taking that data to a network. is the $5 a one-time or recurring, and whats the niche?

Thanks, i'm unsure of how this world works;

The niche is B2B SaaS, at the founding stage;

It's essentially a batteries included, put in idea->get landing page with email tracking/analytics setup in 5 mins, no work from you.

At the moment it's fixed $5 a permanent landing page (minus custom domain), so it theoretically should kill the market where competitors are charging $99 a month or something for the same service;

I just have 0 traffic to it, nothing.
I could toy with $19.99 monthly sub where they can spin up multiple websites, and I've got a lot of feature ideas to add onto it, to give more value.

yeah, for a $5 one-time sale most affiliates won’t bother unless the conversion rate is already proven. i’d validate the offer with direct outreach or small paid tests first, then use an affiliate setup once you have EPC numbers.

At $3 payout nobody serious is gonna run paid traffic for you, the math just dies too fast. Better angle is make it recurring or raise the front end, even $19/mo with 40-50% recurring affiliate cut is way easier to pitch than a one-off $3. For now I’d skip networks and do ugly founder stuff... post demos in indie hacker/build in public spaces, cold DM agencies/freelancers who make landing pages, maybe give them a white label/ref link. Once you can say “this converts at X% and churn is Y” then affiliates care.
