ways people make money on crypto in 2026

How easy is it to get into airdrops? Is it just a matter of waiting for it to happen?

I did pretty well with crypto games during the last bull run, which is why I'm curious about this topic. I don't hear people talking about play-to-earn nearly as much anymore. Are there any games worth looking at these days, or has the focus shifted to other ways of making money in crypto?

Airdrop farming is still my number one choice. It's a legitimate way to earn money through consistent effort, and sometimes a bit of luck can lead to very rewarding payouts.

I'm currently trying to make money through the exchange's affiliate program, but it seems to be much more challenging than I expected.

Taking advantage of different prices between markets, have to be careful though.

@Rankings Daily is right about the affiliate side, if you dont have traffic you are just shouting into a wall. Same goes for airdrops now tbh. @affoff you cant just wait around for them, you need to actively farm with multiple accounts using antidetect browsers and residential proxies if you want to make anything decent. The days of one wallet getting a five figure drop are mostly gone unless you get lucky. Also regarding the games @haspamm asked about, play to earn only makes sense if you can script the actions and run dozens of accounts. Doing it manually is just grinding for pennies now.

Shilling for crypto projects makes money for a lot of people.

I invest spare capital in cryptocurrency staking to generate passive income, providing a steady and reliable source of returns.

Affiliate and short positions are the best in 2026.

Spot in a bear market is bullshit. Next year, it's a good one

Airdrop is bullshit, 99% of those altcoin projects are garbage
Content creation and alpha call groups are good ones if you don't care to become a new guru scammer luring people and make their lives miserable
What affiliates are you doing in crypto markets? Any advice?

Trading cryptocurrency futures is extremely risky. I've never considered it a sustainable way to make money.

I am in a position to say that most people make money through trading, staking, or long-term holding.

I feel like the risk/reward from staking or yield farming is not worth it anymore. For me the only reasonable ways to make money from crypto anymore is long term swing trading and selling options (but need to be careful doing that in bear markets)

People make money in crypto through trading, staking, airdrops, yield farming, mining, and building blockchain-based businesses.

Trading, staking, and airdrops are still the most used methods

I’m making money by trading cryptocurrencies. Although the profits aren’t huge, I find it quite enjoyable.

imo fastest way with low risk is rug pulling on pumpfun but that is also saturated these days
