I used to answer messages the moment they arrived.

but now I reply at specific times and I feel less stressed.

How do you manage messages?

If your job doesn't require immediate replies, setting specific times to handle messages can really make things feel more relaxed,

we all have a life, stop thinking about being available down to the second

Exactly, because for me i have a target for daily response and it havent been easy, i get bored sometimes

Same here, I used to reply the second a message popped up, but it got exhausting. Now I check messages a few times during the day, and honestly, it's made things a lot less stressful.

my work requires replying messages asap, because i never know how long a potential client will stay online, so i am logged in from my mobile browser and pc to reply asap.

Nope, I used to be the guy who replied in 0.2 seconds and then felt chained to my phone all day. Now I batch replies a couple times a day, usually after lunch and before I wrap up for the evening. Took a while to stop feeling guilty about it, but honestly nobody died from waiting a few hours. If it's an emergency they'll call. This way I actually focus on stuff without constant ping-pong. Less stressed for sure.

Work-related messages I try to answer fast, especially if a client is waiting. Everything else I check in batches, otherwise the whole day gets destroyed by notifications.

same here I too maintain particular time for reply them.

If the message is really important and requires an immediate response, I reply. If it's something minor, it can wait

It depends on your niche and clients. Sometime a potential client could write to 3-5 persons simultaneously, so if you will answer in a few hours there is high change that a job is already was approved to someone other.
