Hello everyone. I saw some listings on Facebook Marketplace that are listed with the only option to contact them via email. Is anyone here who can tell me how can I do this? Thank you!

If you don't see your email address in the listing, it's likely they haven't made it public. You'll just have to wait for them to update it or find another way to contact them.

If the listing only shows an email option, it is usually because the seller chose that as their preferred contact method. I'd recommend reaching out through the email provided and waiting for a reply rather than trying to find another way to contact them. If you don't hear back after a reasonable time, it's probably best to move on to another listing.

In my experience, that usually depends on the seller's contact preferences or the type of listing. Some Marketplace listings may display email as the primary contact method, while others use Messenger. I don't think it's something that can always be manually selected—it may vary by region, listing category, or account settings.

What I asked... How can I list something on Marketplace and people have only the option to contact me via email? This is what I am trying to do

If a person selling on Facebook Marketplace hides chat but allows email only, it means that he or she uses automated answers to questions and redirects buyers outside Marketplac
If you see such case, just write to the email provided in listing no other workarounds exist within Marketplace,,

Facebook Marketplace is a local buying and selling platform where people can discover, list, and purchase items directly within Facebook.

I want to use the same option as the picture mentioned

Personally, i noticed that FB test different marketplace features in different regions, so not everyone see the same options

Have you enabled the email message checkbox? It usually contains notifications for the email addresses you've set up.

If a contact email is displayed, you can send a message there and wait for a reply, or you can message them directly on Facebook to reach them.

Instead of trying to find another contact, you can message directly via the displayed email or Facebook that you see.
