I would start with the basics first. try getting links from relevant guest posts, niche edits if you can,and a few quality business or niche directories. I would not worry about building lots of backlinks until the site has enough solid content.

If I was just starting, I would keep it simple.Reach out for a few guest posts,build relationships with other bloggers, and make sure your own content is worth linking to. It seems like a better long term approach than chasing lots of quick backlinks.
