Hey everyone,

I am just starting out and trying to figure out the most practical way to make my first small amount online.

I have seen a lot of methods like affiliate marketing, freelancing, content creation, etc., but as a beginner it is hard to know what is actually doable without experience.

For those who have already made their first $100, what method worked for you and how long did it take?

Just trying to understand a realistic starting point and avoid wasting time on the wrong things.

I would really appreciate your advice!!

I made money with DVD's (obviously before streaming) then computer hardware parts (getting them cheaper at my local already cheap as hell store) selling them on ebay and amazon. Then bought a large format printer, and printed posters and canvas art worldwide. Then I also done merch with tees, and done well with that.

I also done probably another 50-80 things, lol just the didn't all make as much money as the 20% pareto principle as i listed.

I have discipline and brute force skills beyond average. What do you have? You can't create content for people if you never done any yourself. You can't freelance, if you never done anything practically that a employer would want. Think of how many people there are on the internet looking for work already? lol you gonna be at front somehow with no background or experinace?

There is always 888.com tattoes or something on the forehead? I'm sure its them that pay for tattoo's on foreheads? lol

going on freelance sites and doing short gigs for AI trainers like recording words for voice-activated AI products they're trying to build.

You don't need to waste months / years to build skills / experience
unless you think you can learn, read api docs and code faster than claude opus 4.6

Instead of starving your wallet for months and years before you can make money,
why not just start reselling, no matter what're in high demand, eg email accounts

Or if you have some money for upfront investment, hire some experienced coders to develop complex automation tool for you,
and then sell self-created accounts instead of reselling to gain full control to the accounts you'll sell

Be extremely valuable but in skills and relationships

To boost your chances of making your first $100 online, you would need to look at the skillset that you have already mastered, and try to analyze the markets to know where you can easily start on a solid foundation.

Ewhoring, and I am not joking at all.

If we’re talking about $100, quickly, in a legal way, I’d go with GPT sites (the ones that require you to complete a task to receive a reward.) Won’t make you 2k per month if you don’t get referral commissions, but can work for beer money.

How do you get paid tho
you will get paid through dating affiliate sites. You entice horny guys and tell them to join you on the affiliate site with your clocked link .They join and you get paid . There are 100 other ways it can be done .Its one of the oldest methods. Yes it works.

The most realistic way to make your first $100 is something simple and quick: basic freelancing (writing, editing, small tasks), micro-services on Fiverr, or affiliate marketing using traffic you already have. Most people here started with small jobs, and it took them anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks. The key is to choose something you can deliver without prior experience—and to do it well.

My first $100 was from captcha entry (which was a legtimate work in 2010)

Do you have any skills which you can sell online ?

Freelancing 100%. use your current skills or learn a basic one in a weekend. Everything else like blogging or youtube takes months to pay out.

Goated, works super well in the big 26, I'd say it's better than ever, Reddit + Snapchat combo is enough.
How do yall avoid bans we need to make a discord or something for everyone that still is actively doing ts i only bring in about $200 a week now

Pick one tiny service on Fiverr that you can deliver in 30 min. Video titles, Canva thumbnails, data entry, whatever. The first $100 is about getting that first buyer to trust you, not about picking the perfect method. Charge $10-15, do it 7-10 times, and you've got your first $100 and a testimonial.
