In most cases, yes it can hurt your views. Bought followers don’t engage, so your engagement rate drops and platforms show your content to fewer real people.

Your engagement rate will get lower, therefore your views will get lower. All bought followers from SMM panels are usually at 99% bot followers, and they don't interact with any of your posts.
 
maybe it's not the real problem . The followers u buy dont interact with your account then platform may flagged it. Try to interact with real followers then u will get better result
 
It really depends on the source. Cheap panel followers that are all bots will tank your engagement rate and yes, your views will drop because the algorithm sees low interaction relative to follower count. But higher quality followers from services that use real or at least active accounts tend to have less of a negative impact. The key thing to watch is your engagement rate after any follower purchase — if it drops below 1-2% that is when the algorithm starts throttling your reach hard.
 
It's not that your engagement of any other metric will drop; most of these followers are bots and won't interact with your account, so you'ii continue to see engagement only from the audience you already had on your profile.

The thing nobody really mentions is it depends a lot on how fast you dump them in. If you go from 500 to 50k overnight thats a way bigger red flag than spreading it out. The sudden ratio change is what gets you looked at, not just the bots themselves.

But yeah the core point stands... engagement rate is the number that matters. Bots inflate the denominator and never touch the numerator so your % tanks and reach follows it down.

If your goal is just social proof for landing page conversions or whatever then maybe its worth it. If your goal is actual organic reach on the videos then nah, your kinda working against yourself.
 
nah bro, the view do not depend on the number of followers, it's the quality content problem. U have to attract "real" audience by your content, the number of followers only allow your account looks more creditability

I'd say usually, but mostly because bought follows aren't likely to interact with your posts, Reels, etc. That sort of disincentivise the algo from pushing it out. Not always the case, but yeah.
 
On sites like Instagram this can even affect your account negatively, because you can get shadow banned and your reach is almost 0 for a long time.

I saw this happen to a few instagram profiles, that after botting their organic engagement almost went to zero.
 
Yes it's possible fake followers don't engage on contents and that can also reduce reach and views over time. It's better to gain real followers consistency is the key just keep posting your content daily.
