Helly guys
A few years ago, almost anyone could post consistently and get thousands of views. Now it feels like the algorithm is much more selective, and competition is everywhere :weep:
Do you think success on TikTok today is more about:
  • Following trends?
  • Creating original content?
  • Posting frequency?
  • Or simply having better hooks in the first 3 seconds?
I'd love to hear real experiences from creators and marketers. What's been working for you lately, and what strategy have you completely stopped using?

organic reach is way harder now but its still all about that 3 second hook and getting ppl to rewatch, focus on that over posting 5 times a day.

I think every factor is important; you need to combine them all, because TikTok is becoming increasingly competitive and difficult.

its all four things at the same time, you must follow trends, and also post original and quality content, your hooks also need to get viewers to stop, and want to leave a comment.

In my opinion, currently the most important factor is to keep viewers in the first few seconds and make them watch until the end of the video. Trends can help increase reach, but original content and real value create sustainable growth. Posting regularly is still important, but quality is often more effective than quantity. Personally, I find videos with strong openings, clear content and hitting the right audience needs are performing much better than just following trends.

One thing that feels different lately is that original angles stand out more. there is so much recycled content that something slightly different can perform surprisingly well.

Kind of feels like consistency is winning these days because the accounts that stick to one lane seem to build momentum a lot easier than the ones chasing every trend that pops up

original content with a strong hook consistently outperforms trend chasing. posting frequency matters less than it used to.

Currently, TikTok is a platform that attracts a large audience, so you need to use videos with an engaging opening to capture viewers' attention.

bro strong hooks and retention still matter more than anything else. follow trends can give you a temporary boost, but original content with a clear niche tends to perform better over time and if u keep posting maybe like 10 videos per day regularly but low quality u still flop as well

TikTok is still crazy for organic reach but it is not the free ride it used to be. Better hooks and retention matter way more than posting ten times a day now. I stopped chasing every trend and saw better results once the content had a consistent style and audience.

TikTok is one of the best platforms for organic growth. However, its effectiveness depends on your niche. Some industries perform exceptionally well on TikTok, while others simply aren't a good fit for the platform.
