How to you guys promote your blog?

Hey there,
Just being curious and searching for some underused strategies to promote a blog.
Almost everyone tells about importance of SEO , social media including running ads, but I want to try more unconventional approaches and experiment.
Do you guys have any other non-cliche ideas blog promotion?

I usually focus on communities where the target audience is already active Sharing genuinely useful content in relevant forums niche groups and email newsletters has worked better for me than trying every social platform.

but this underutilzed strategy requires you to kep your posts accsible. without a doubt nobody will complain about backlink or abut giving value instead of posting a common post in this satuated niche.
 
Try Reddit discussions, niche forums, and repurposing posts into short-form content.
 
I’ve had better results by participating in niche communities and updating older content than chasing every new platform.
 
Reddit and Quora!

I think a lot of people spend too much time writing and not enough time promoting.

One thing I've found useful is joining conversations instead of just sharing links. If someone asks a question on Reddit, Quora, or in a niche community that your blog answers, leave a helpful response first. If your article adds more value, mention it naturally. People are much more likely to click when it doesn't feel like self promotion.

I found the method that suited me most to be transforming my blog into free tool, checklists or templates. It is human nature to like sharing something that truly help, which lead to backlink being collected almost automaticaly.

Non cliche ideas no, but pinterest drives traffic very decently for me. I mean you just put your url in your pins and traffic gets directed to your website/blog. Also since pins drive traffic for years, this is a decent method to drive traffic to your blog.
 
Answer questions on small, hyper focused forums or Discord servers instead of fighting for space on Reddit. Being the only expert in a small, tight knit group drives incredibly high-quality clicks to your site.

I think Qoura, Medium are good plate forms to promote your links. these are basically have greater exposure with intellects and they can understand thinks and their response are not impulsive.
 
I have had good results by answering niche questions in communities building simple free tools and updating older articles with fresh information These methods bring steady traffic over time and often create more trust than relying only on ads or social media
 
I promote my blog through SEO, social media, and by sharing helpful content in relevant online communities.

It’s simple to publish the importnt thing is in how you get it around. Fom personall experience, I would say that building communitie and creating worthhile content could be beter than just promoting the blog post themselves.
 
Repurposing posts into short-form video clips for TikTok/Shorts has worked well for me - captures people who'd never find the blog via search, and a protion click through to read the full piece.
 
Another underused tactic is using blogs as free resources such as checklists and templates. In addition, answer the questions that people in the community have in relation to your topic, then mention your article when it can add value.

The most important thing that gets overlooked is that promotion is more effective when you integrate urself into the niche rather than spamming your links wherever you can. Creating relationships in smaller niches and developing tools and resources will get you traffic far longer than promotion ever will.
 
Guest post on tiny niche sites, answer industry forums and send free niche guides for email leads.

Try creating free tools,templates that attract naturally backlinks and repeat visitors
