Best AI tool for product pics?

Yo guys,
So I’ve been trying to find a decent AI thing for making product photos for my store. Some of these apps look sick but then you see the price and it’s just nuts. I don’t really care about dropping some cash if it’s actually good, just don’t wanna get ripped off.

For quality and value, try Midjourney (paid) for creative shots or Canva AI (freemium) for simpler, faster edits. For a free option, Leonardo AI is powerful.
 
For a great balance of quality and control, check out Adobe Firefly. It's powerful and integrates with Photoshop.
For a pure value option, try Clipdrop by Stability AI. It's specifically designed for product shots and has a clear pricing model.

Both are top-tier without being overly expensive.

If you’re doing product photos, I’d look for tools that balance consistency and batch processing rather than just flashy outputs. A lot of the expensive ones charge for features you might not actually use at scale, so testing a few before committing usually helps avoid overpaying.
 
Start with the free trials. some of the cheaper tools are surprisingly good, so yeah no need to spend big money straight away.
 
I would not recommend stable diffusion as someone else suggested, as I run it, and it takes time to teach it to showcase hands, and faces properly. If you have $20 to spare a month, I would suggest any AI platform that makes use of UCG content creation. For example, I was testing the services on Heygen in the past, and they are good for some scenarios related to products. There are other platforms too. Look on YouTube where creators compare the best platforms. For example, when I just searched I found this:

most of these tools like midjourney are cool for backgrounds but they absolutely ruin the actual product shape if you try to generate the whole thing from scratch... if you have an actual physical product, you want something that keeps the bottle or box exactly the same and just changes the background.

i tried using clipdrop and flair ai for a shopify store last year. flair is decent because you can upload your product png, lock it, and then just generate the scene around it. photoroom does a similar thing and it's pretty cheap.

@v6proxy if you already have clean photos of your products, just use photoshop generative fill or even photoroom. don't waste money on those high-end "AI product studios" that charge 100 bucks a month, they mostly just use the same stable diffusion API under the hood anyway.
 
Midjourney is an excellent AI application for generating product images.
 
@XSMMDoctor is right about the product shape. If you try to generate the actual item with AI, you'll get returns because the real product won't look like the photo.

Best way is just taking a decent phone pic, cutting out the background, and using something like Photoroom or even Photoshop generative fill to make the scene. Those expensive "AI studios" are mostly just wrapping the Stable Diffusion API and charging a massive markup anyway... definitely not worth the cash imo.
 
You can upload a photo to the AI and ask to transform it somehow but make sure that you're able to write the prompt that really can make it better than it was before
 
cloudmerchant nailed the rule: keep the product real, fake the scene. the trick is to never let the model touch the item, mask the product out of a plain phone pic and only inpaint the background and lighting around it. people get returns because they text-to-image the whole thing and the product silently morphs into something that doesnt exist. lock it as a reference or a hard mask and you get a photoreal scene with zero distortion. photoroom does this, so does generative fill, you dont need the $50/mo "ai studio" wrappers. are you trying to generate the product itself or just drop a real one into a nicer scene?
