Guys, what do you think about the "dead internet theory"?, where we are actually talking to bots all day thinking they are people behind the screen? Do you have this eering feeling sometimes?
Doesn't that sound discouraging sometimes for you too?, or am I just too skeptical?
In fact, people's levels of loneliness are worrying, which explains the success of LLMs chats and video-games and p0rn industry, I keep thinking about the day when there will be holographic celebrities, where no one will notice the difference if it's real or not, people will be so lonely that they will worship the AI model at a level of parasociology never seen before, do you find this bizarre or do you find it interesting to explore new business models using this?

I think the dead internet theory pertains to the content on the internet being mostly made up of bot material / spam / repurposed content. In that regard, I do believe we have entered a period where original content is at an all time low. Almost everything I see, I can tell it was made by an artificial intelligence.

The internet is overflowing with all this information; however, it's all recycled and repurposed. I barely see anything original anymore. It's not like it used to be, that's for sure.

It's both an extremely interesting time and an extremely sad time to live through.

Yeah, I get that feeling too. The internet isnt dead, its just slowly turning into bots remixing bot content for other bots lol. Real human stuff will probably become the premium product.
