Im trying to understand how to make large number of calls coming from FB marketplace for garage door, or local group and any other good methods. or even buying from people the leads.
Any direction what to do?

Honestly, stop looking for a 'magic button' and start thinking about your lead gen as an ecosystem. You need all three pillars working in sync to see real results
  1. Paid Ads (The Accelerator): This is your immediate source of leads. If your budget allows, run targeted ads. The key is in the setup don't just throw money at it. Get your landing page optimized, and make sure your targeting is tight. If it's dialed in, you’ll see results from day one.
  2. SMM (Your Digital Storefront): This is where you build trust. People will check your page before they call you. If your profile looks amateurish or empty, you’re losing conversions. Keep it clean, professional, and showcase your best work. It’s your social proof.
  3. Organic/UGC (The Long Game): This includes Reels, Shorts, and yes, smart spamming in local groups. Don't just spam links; be helpful. Post content that solves a problem people appreciate local pros who actually give advice. It takes time to build, but it compounds over time.
If you only rely on one of these, you’re leaving money on the table. Buying leads is an option, but it’s often a race to the bottom with shared leads you’re basically paying to compete with three other guys for the same customer. My advice? Build the foundation (SMM + local presence) and use paid ads to fuel the fire. It’s a marathon, not a sprint, but once you get the synergy between these channels working, the leads start to flow consistently

you can focus on building one reliable lead source before trying to juggle several. Local Facebook groups and Marketplace can work if you're active and consistent, and if you decide to buy leads, make sure you test the quality with a small batch first. It's usually better to have a few solid leads than a large list that doesn't convert.

I think you should set up your own store and run ads to identify your potential customer base. This allows you to build a loyal following for long-term growth, rather than relying on acquiring customers from others a strategy that might not be effective or well-suited to your specific business model.
