Is it bad to text busineses with your business phone number. Should you use a different number? for outreach

A personal number may have a higher open/response rate because they may think you're a potential customer depending on your copy

Are you talking about following up with a client/customer or running some sort of promotion? If you're talking promo you have to be careful, if they haven't opted in for promo from your company they can use it against you

I don't think using your business number is a problem. In fact, if you use your business number then it can makes you look more professional. Just avoid sending too many messages at once as this can leads to complaints and hurt your number's reputation.

Using your business number is usually the more better choice, it looks more professional and it helps build trust. Just make sure the outreach stays personalized, avoid sending spam, and follow local messaging plus marketing rules. A different number can be useful only when you want to keep the outreach organized or see campaign performance in a clearer way, otherwise it is often unnecessary.
