My Pinterest Recovery Journey: Rebuilding a 12M+ Impression Account After a Year of Neglect

The numbers are great, did you had any issue with mediavine for social traffic ? Like pinterest ? Is pinterest your main traffic here or is it mixed with other sources too. Again the numbers are pretty impressive and I have seen numbers growing exponentially on pinterest.

Yeah, I agree with you. I didn't post any new content or pins. Also the urls reached their maximum like the amount of pins I can create for them or get them marked as spam.
I also tried Pinterest a few months ago, and it went well. The traffic was growing to 100 users/day, then one day, suddenly, everything stopped, and my impressions and reach went to 0 . Have you experienced something similar? My images were made with nano banana and the pins were high quality so i really don't know what is the cause

Hey everyone, sorry it’s been a while. I’m still managing to push through, even while dealing with depression.

Honestly, this has been a really good experience and has given me motivation to keep going. I wake up every day, check all the metrics, and try to understand what’s doing well and what isn’t.

I think the account is making a good recovery. Even though the overall numbers are still showing in the red, the last few weeks look encouraging to me, and I’m happy with the progress. I’ve been publishing a lot of blogs based on trending topics, along with keyword-rich evergreen content.

I also started a new Pinterest account and spent some time warming it up. It’s already looking promising, so I’m going to start posting more consistently there. The new account is meant to supplement the traffic from my existing account. Two accounts are better than one.

Some of the new pins are already starting to gain traction, while others haven’t moved yet. That’s just how Pinterest works. I need to give them more time to get indexed, rank, and gradually start bringing in traffic.

I don't think mediavine has any issues with social traffic, but since google clapped everyone for organic traffic. Most of the traffic is from social and search traffic for my website is not great, not much from google, most of it from Bing and DDG.. honestly pinterest traffic has way higher rpm, pinterest users are looking to buy.

I had an account in the food niche that mostly used AI-written blogs and AI-generated pins. It got clapped by Pinterest for spam. Although they reversed the decision after a few months, the account got clapped again later. Most of my pins now are created with GPT-2 Image, but all the source images are real and curated through my Instagram account. I’m not saying this is the solution, though, because there are still some AI-focused Pinterest accounts doing well.
