What do you do when a barber messes up your haircut?

What do you do when a barber completely messes up your haircut?

Do you tell them right away?

Ask them to fix it?

Leave a bad review?

Or do you just stare at yourself in the mirror, say "looks good, thanks," and spend the next two weeks wearing a hat?

I'm curious how people actually handle this situation.

I say "Looks good, thanks" and spend the next few weeks wearing a hat
I'd think about going completely bald to fix it, but the problem is i look even worse with a shaved head. So, I'd quietly walk back home, avoid mirrors for a while until i got my old look.

that depends how he messes up and when . because normal days no issue but any function time its serious condition

I went to get a haircut because my hair had grown quite long I told the barber just a little trim bro

Next thing I know I’m looking in the mirror like bro who is this?”

It didn’t turn out the way I expected at all it was so bad that even my confidence left the chat

End result? I had no choice but to just shave my head off and start a new life as a monk

Never find a new barber until your regular barber is dead lol :)

This has not happened to me yet. If it does, then I will say, 'If you cut it all off for no additional cost, then I will stop complaining.' I would rather start over from scratch than deal with a bad hair cut. If they comply, then I will just move on and find a different barber for next time; if they refuse, then I will leave a bad review.

Back when I used to pay for haircuts, and also when I used to go to cosmetology schools that gave out free haircuts, I would just go with:

"looks good, thanks!" :(

But now that I cut my own hair it's basically just the same. :D "The difference between a good and bad haircut is two weeks."

I've been going to the same barber for over 8 years, and on the very day i decided switch, the new barber not only messed up but also cut me a little with the razor. I know that happens sometimes, but o decided no to switch.

Some peoples have to less problems if a bad haircut make a difference. From my experience i never have any bad haircut that i can remember as most peoples do a decent job even if your hair may not be best is still acceptable but if they do a terible deal just dont go there next time. There is literaly nothing you can do other than this

I think people’s comments are pretty interesting. Like, if barber messes up my haircut, I’d probably immediately take out my phone and text my friend telling him not to come here again, saying the barber here doesn’t even understand what people are asking for…

Then I’d just pay and leave like nothing happened… :weep:

The thing is, I switched places and have not been able to find a barber which can cut my hair reliably

I have never really had someone give a "terrible cut" to me but i have seen my friends get a few and it just gets some laughs from me
I feel like a number of people in this thread haven't given the humble toupee a chance.
Toupee I feel, fits a personality in itself

That is the problem, I am not comfortable saying to a person you did a bad job
