Google's June 2026 Spam Update went live
this week and it's still actively rolling out.
For those running iGaming or Casino sites curious what you're seeing on your end.
A few things worth tracking during this rollout:
Sites with clean backlink profiles seem to be
holding better than those with heavier
link building patterns. That's been consistent
across the last few updates this year.
Topical coherence is also showing up as
a factor sites where the content structure
clearly matches the domain's historical niche
appear to be more stable right now.
For anyone seeing drops probably worth
waiting for the rollout to complete before
making any aggressive changes. Hard to
diagnose what's the update vs what's
actually a site issue when things are
still in flux.
A few questions for the thread:
1. Are your iGaming rankings dropping, holding, or actually improving?
2. Any patterns in what's getting hit link heavy builds, thin content, specific niches within iGaming?
3. Anyone running aged domains seeing different behavior compared to fresh builds during this update?
Drop what you're seeing below
would be useful to track this one
in real time.
