Sad News to Share

Today is a deeply saddening day.

Greg was one of my very first mentors on the forum over 10 years ago. He was the original reason I was brought on to become a staff member.

The world has truly lost one of the greats of our time.

My best goes out to his family.

Fly high, Gregor. Fly high.

I still can’t believe that BTB is no longer with us.

The last time I spoke with him, he took the time to give me a friendly warning that helped steer me away from something serious. Over the years, I came to know him as not just a familiar name on the forum, but as someone whose experience, wisdom, and generosity were always evident in the advice he shared.

Looking back, I wish I had taken the opportunity to speak with him one more time before he left us. He made a lasting impression on many of us, and he will be deeply missed.

Wow, this is my first time logging in in a long time. BTB was someone I admired. You could tell he was a standup guy. Oldhead. He helped me a lot and was a wealth of wisdom. Will be praying for his family. Thank you BTB. Many of us have only gotten so far due to you and this forum.

RIP Greg. He was an absolute legend and a pillar of BHW. His presence and helpful nature will be deeply missed for sure. My heartfelt condolences to his family and friends during this incredibly difficult time.

This is a sad loss. A former BHW user recently messaged me on TG asking if I've heard anything about him(BTB) citing that it's been a while since he posted. I just told him BTB left a profile post that he's taking sometime off to fix a few things, it's sad to learn he's not going to be back

This is indeed a huge loss to the forum/community.
I am the former member that Obi spoke of.

I can’t just sit there and not tell Greg’s family, including his BHW family what an inspiration and generally great human he was.

Greg was a truly great person. I learned so much from him especially about business. I was his shadow in the SHIT LIST, now “dispute resolution” for many years.

Without Greg either being frank with people or online-style yelling at them I wouldn’t be able to perform the world class customer service I do.

I still remember when Greg was in the backlink indexing industry. I shared a method with him to index links and it was the simplest of things compared to what it takes now. He said he had never heard of it!

I’m really glad that after all he’s done I was able to share something that benefited him too.

There was one time he warned me for “selling in the marketplace” or whatever it was. I still stand firm on that is not what I was doing. I was just trying to help. But unlike a bunch of the weiners on here that get warned and whine about it I just said YES. Lol

I suspected this would be the case with Greg when he stopped posting about a month ago. My parents are just about his age. Just few years older. And I’m expecting the same thing with them soon.

HEY GREG feel free to come slap me upside the head sometime. For whatever.

Rest in peace brother. And THANK YOU for all I’ve learned from you since 2013.

BHW and the world won’t be the same without you. But I’ll remember.

Goodbye

Very sad, my condolences to his family and friends.

I don't know him as well as others, I just remember him as someone you shouldn't mess around with and very stern like a disciplinary teacher.

May his family and friends be at ease during this difficult times.
