Years of experience and service to the community, and now he has gone into his final deep sleep. @BassTrackerBoats was a man who worked hard to help keep the community clean, honest, and safe. He was never afraid to point out mistakes or misleading information, yet he also had the kindness to forgive those who learned from their errors. His contributions and presence will be remembered by many. Rest in peace.
Greg called me loquacious a good few times - all I'll say is it takes one to know one.
But at times like this, adequate words are hard to find. I have loved feeling the warmth and high regard from his friends in this thread. How special that he will be part of this place forever.
It's a great day for baseball, Greg...let's play two.
I don't know how to react to this information
But I support creating an exclusive tag for his profile and some kind of public tribute, in the end this is probably the worst day on BHW history and it would be nice if his family, in a few weeks see the importance of Greg for so many people and his online legacy here
No matter how much time passes, I will never forget you. To me, you were one of the greatest moderators BHW has ever had—fair, dedicated, and always looking out for the community.
The memories and impact you left behind will remain a part of BHW forever. You weren't just a moderator; you were someone many members respected and appreciated.
Rest in peace, @BassTrackerBoats. You will always be my favorite moderator, and you will never be forgotten.
Shame, he was a long time user, I remember we both joined around the same time, he wasn't even a moderator back then. Prayers to his family and friends
