Hey guys what’s good ? I’ve wanted to ask something and open a discussion to talk about this

If you were looking for ultra privacy, anonimity related to domain registration and hosting a website in like a VPS, what would be your choices ?

For example I see that Njal la it’s one of the best options for domain registrations, but what would you use for hosting provider and why?

Not sure about hosting but Cloudflare doesn't expose your contact info to WHOIS services, and they don't charge for that, haven't heard of Njal, they could be a better option after all.

Cloudflare is fine for hiding whois from random people, but I wouldnt call it ultra privacy. They still know you, your logs are there, and your account/payment trail matters.

Njalla is decent for domains if you accept the tradeoff that they technically hold/control it for you. For hosting I’d look more at jurisdiction + payment + abuse policy than just “offshore” branding. 1984 in Iceland, OrangeWebsite, FlokiNET, maybe some smaller VPS guys that take crypto, but dont expect magic.

Biggest mistake is mixing identities. Same email, same browser, same card, same ssh habits... provider choice wont save that. separate everything or its just privacy theatre imo.

For shared hosting, it’s not just the amount of disk space that matters, but also the performance of the entire infrastructure. Using NVMe SSDs speeds up the file system and databases, while daily backups provide an additional layer of data protection. It’s also helpful to be able to choose between cPanel and DirectAdmin, depending on which administration tools you’re used to. This is exactly the approach implemented at hostpro.com.

Yeah @The WP Nerd is right about the OPSEC side. You can have the most bulletproof offshore VPS but if you log in from your home IP or pay with a crypto wallet linked to your real name KYC, it is all useless.

For domains Njalla is okay but you can also just use something like porkbun with fake details and pay with monero.

For VPS hosting look at Alexhost or maybe PQ.hosting. They are pretty lax with DMCA and accept XMR. Just make sure you always connect to the VPS via SSH through a VPN or Tor, otherwise the provider logs your real IP anyway and the whole setup is ruined. And ignore that hostpro spam lol

In terms of domains, Njalla would be a fine choice if you consider privacy important. In regards to VPS, I would advise going with hosts that have a proven record in terms of privacy and cryptocurrency payments and not too heavy KYC procedures.
