Are Instagram Reels Still Delivering the Best Organic Reach?

Hi everyone,
I’ve noticed that many creators continue to prioritize Reels as part of their Instagram strategy.
Do you think Reels still provide the best organic reach on the platform, or are other content formats starting to catch up?
Would love to hear your experience.

From my experience, Reels still bring the most organic reach, especially when you're trying to reach new people. That said, I've noticed carousels are getting much better engagement too, so I think using a mix of both works best.
 
For me, Reels still have the best organic reach. Stories are great for engaging existing followers and carousels can do well too, but if the goal is reaching new people, Reels are usually still the best format.
 
Reels are still the only content that drives the most organic reach on Instagram
Reels might not do as well in terms of saves and engagement, but it is the one driving the growth on the platform

Imo, reels still get the best organic reach overall, But carousels and good posts can still perform well if the content is strong enough and keeps people engaged.
 
Reels still get the widest reach, but a lot of that reach is just loose, low-intent views now. If the goal is follows, saves or clicks, carousels can punch above their weight even with less total reach.

In my opinion reels are the best tool for organic reach on IG so you should definitely use them a lot.
 
For sure, reels provide the best reach, and i saw someone here saying that it only brings loose low intent views, which is partially true, but at the same time that has alot to do with the content you produce, for example, if you in the memepage niche, then hes right, but if you are a face content creator, likeable personality, funny, smart, it can be whatever as long as it matches your niche, then those loose views will turn into actual enganging followers, ive even seen a few faceless accounts creating a core following because their videos are engaging

Reels still give the best organic reach by far on Instagram. Carousels and regular photos can do okay, but nothing beats Reels for getting pushed to new people
 
From what I have seen Reels still tend to offer the strongest organic reach especially for reaching new audiences That said carousels often perform very well for engagement and follower retention so a mix of formats usually works best rather than relying on only one type of content
 
yes, reels bring in most of the views now, because more ig users now use it the same way they use tiktok. However, other forms still get views. Focus most of your energy and time on reels but dont abandon other formats completely
 
From my experience, Reels are still the strongest format for organic reach on Instagram, especially if your goal is to reach people who don't already follow you. Most of the accounts I've worked with get significantly more impressions from Reels than from regular feed posts. That said, simply posting Reels isn't enough anymore. Yes reels still provide the good organic reach. Especially for the reaching new people. This is easiest way to get organic reach if your reels are quality ful
 
Reels still feel like the main discovery tool on Instagram. Most of my new audience comes from them, not static posts.
