Is it 10,000? 100,000 videos?

I know it sounds crazy, but is the internet that big? (Just regarding Tiktok+instagram+facebook)
How many videos does it take, hypothetically speaking to artificially make something a trend?

Is it 1 billion views? 40 million likes?

this is not even associated with any view counts or number of videos. the trend starts where there are thousands of people making videos on the same topic rather than one individual going viral with his video.

I don’t think there’s a magic number because trends tend to happen when the right content gets to the right audience at the right time not just from raw volume.

A trend doesn't need billions of views to take off. In many cases, a few hundred to a few thousand videos are enough if they spread quickly. What matters most is how fast people engage and share the content. Roughly, 1,000–10,000 videos generating 10–100 million views could make something feel like a major trend. There is no fixed number momentum matters more than total views.

There’s no magic number. If it hits the right audience early and gets strong engagement signals, a trend can explode from relatively small volume.. distribution matters more than total videos or views.

I do not think there is any fixed number. It depends on the audience. If audience quickly starts copying, engaging and sharing the video then it becomes a trend in short time period.
