[Journey] Amazon Affiliate Still Profitable or a Bust?

@pauliakas great results man.
How are you intergrating your amazon affiliate offers into the articles? Is it "just" manually or some kind of software?
I've got a site with affiliate offers but i find it tedious to update them all the time.

My site also just get bing etc. traffic. No Google traffic since HCU :(

I have AAWP plugin, so just some codes for product and ASIN numbers, pretty easy to maintain.

use claude ai to scrape your content and insert amazon boxes / links of related products.
 
@pauliakas Updates? Just making sure you've not given up on the journey. c'mon buddy 3k is around the corner!!
 
Was out for some time due holidays with my family, visited Italy, so pizza, pasta, sea and rocks/sand :D
Tried not to use computer or use as less as possible...

Getting some clicks to Amazon 120 so far this month, but only two small sales.
It need's time, hard to rank on Google and for Bing need longer time, but if pick up then it's run fine :)
 
Great numbers! By the way, do you have any plans to add other monetization options in the future, such as display ads (Google AdSense)?

I don't know why people think Amazon affiliate + Adsense is good.
Adsense pays pennies...

Although Adsense pays pennies, Mediavine Journey or Ezoic might be better options. With 300-500 daily visits on a blog you can get accepted to Mediavine Journeys who have rpm 10-30$. Do you put Amazon ads on all your text's like the informative ones?

I don't think it's worth, Ezoic will slow your site a lot.
And 10-30 rpm is not realistic...
 
Honestly the Mediavine thing depends a lot on niche @BufferOver. I had a couple amazon sites where display ads actually outperformed the affiliate side once traffic picked up, but on review heavy stuff with good buyer intent the amazon clicks were way more valuable so ads just got in the way. Ezoic does drag load times, no argument there, but Journey is lighter than people think.

@pauliakas two sales out of 120 clicks isnt terrible for new sites still warming up. Conversion usually climbs once google trusts the domain a bit more, first few months are always rough. Are you spreading links inside the informational posts too or keeping them mostly on the buying guides? thats where i used to leak a lot of potential clicks early on.

No i haven't add promo links in info articles, just interlinks with product article. But will see maybe need to optimize a bit later, o get better results.
 
What do you think about selling AI generated products on Amazon, is it possible?
